Search in the filter

Updated yesterday

Iteras contains a filter for searching and filtering subscribers. The filter is most easily accessed via the filter icon in the top bar to the right of the search field, but can also be accessed via the left menu (Subscribers > Overview).

The basic filter has a search field, as well as a field that allows you to specify which field you want to search in. But if you click on “Show more filters,” more advanced options will appear. These are described below.

With subscription

These settings are about filtering subscribers with a subscription (as opposed to subscribers without a subscription, i.e., passive subscribers). There are four options:

  • Active: The subscription is active

  • Awaiting: The subscription has been created but has not started yet. I.e., there is a future start date

  • Suspended: The subscription is suspended, e.g., due to non-payment or manually

  • Ended The subscription has ended. It may seem a bit illogical that under subscribers with subscriptions you can search for those that are ended (since they no longer have a subscription), but it can, for example, be used if you want to create an export for marketing towards those who have had a subscription. So it is not quite the same as those without a subscription who have never had one.

When you make one or more selections in this category, more options will appear:

On

Here you can filter on specific products and campaigns.

The two icons after campaigns are selectors for whether you want to show group subscriptions (i.e., payer subscriptions) or only recipient subscriptions. The first one is particularly useful when you want to find the payer of a subscription in, for example, a large retail chain where the payer and recipients have the same name.

The period selector on the far right allows you to choose subscribers who are currently active in the selected subscription, or those who are both active now and have ever been in the campaign. The latter is relevant if you, for example, want to analyze how many subscribers have joined via a specific introductory campaign.

Subscription started from / ended between

Here you can limit the time period for the subscriptions you want included in the filtering: Between which dates they started or stopped. You do not have to fill in both.

Custom fields

Finally, it is possible to filter on all custom fields you have created.

Deliveries

Here you can choose to display subscribers who have received a specific delivery. Deliveries are defined under products if you have number-based subscriptions – typically deliveries of individual issues of, for example, a magazine. Thus, deliveries are actually used to create addressing lists for, for example, magazines. If you enter the filter via the number of recipients of a delivery, this field in the filter will automatically be filled with the delivery you clicked on.

Subscriber fields

Here you can filter on both standard fields and custom fields that may be defined at the subscriber level.

The country selector makes it possible to choose subscribers either from a specific country or not from a specific country. For example, if you choose “not from Denmark,” you will get all foreign subscribers.

Invoices

Here you can find subscribers who have paid invoices in the period. You can specify in text which invoices must have been paid. The search text searches in the invoice lines.

It is also possible to exclude customers who have a debt collection invoice.

Without ongoing subscription

By checking the “Passive” field, you can display subscribers who do not have any ongoing subscription of any kind. At the top of the filter, you can search for subscribers with an ended subscription, which does not take into account whether there are remaining active subscriptions for the subscriber. Therefore, with the “Passive” setting, you can ensure that subscribers included in the filtering do not have other subscriptions that have not ended.
