Customer service is where you can manage communication between your company and your customers. Customer Service can be found under the account menu (øverst i højre hjørne) → Primary settings → Customer service, click on the button Edit settings for customer service
Name: The company name you use when communicating with customers.
URL ID: A short name used in, among other places, registration forms and self-service.
Email address for support: Specify where subscribers should write if they need help with their subscription. This is also used as the sender for emails the system sends at the start or termination/cancellation of a subscription.
URL for self-service: When Iteras self-service is embedded in the publisher’s website, the URL can be specified here. It is also used in emails the system automatically sends at the start or termination/cancellation of a subscription.
Login options: Here you can choose which information can be used to log in.
Fields and layout in self-service: Here you can control the appearance and content of the self-service interface.
Welcome message: Here you can enter any welcome message, for example, “Welcome as a new subscriber to The Active Sportsman.” The system automatically adds text to the email informing the new subscriber of their subscription number and self-service options. The welcome email is sent either upon the subscriber’s confirmation (if such is used) or when the subscription is created.
Automatically send email when: Tick this option if emails should be sent at the start and termination/cancellation of a subscription. Note that emails are only sent for cancellations/terminations via self-service. The reasoning behind this is that administrative changes to the subscription should not trigger an email to subscribers/members.
Customizing pages for subscribers: Iteras self-service, registration forms, and paywall login, which are integrated into the publisher’s website, can be styled as desired. This is done by adding CSS in this box.
The content of the field is inserted at the top of the HTML code and could be, for example: <style>body { font-size: 16px; }</style>. Remember to check both the embedded and standalone self-service after making changes.
