Campaign price and changing the price

Updated over a month ago

f you want to change the campaign price, this can be done in different ways, depending on when you want it to take effect, whether it concerns one or multiple campaigns, and your setup.

Change price as of today

This method is useful when you only have a few campaigns and it isn’t important that the price changes on a specific day in the future.

If you simply want the price to change from the moment you enter a new price, do the following: Click Sales > select Campaigns > open the campaign you want to change the price for by clicking the name in the overview.

Scroll down to Invoicing and change the amount in the invoice line. Remember to save the campaign.

The price change applies from the next subscription period. If an invoice has already been sent for the upcoming period, the price will only change from the subsequent period – regardless of the due date.

Change price on a specific date

To change the price from a specific date, e.g. at year-end, you must both create a new invoice line and set an expiry date on the existing one.

Click Sales > select Campaigns > open the campaign you want to change the price for by clicking the name in the overview.

Scroll down to Invoicing and click ‘Add line

Enter text on the invoice line (it can be the same as the previous one) and fill in the amount. Then, on the newly created invoice line, click the ‘Edit’ icon under settings.

In the pop-up window, you must now set when the invoice line is Valid from, e.g. 01.01.2026. Remember to click ‘Apply’ to save the setting.

Now click the ‘edit’ icon under settings on the invoice line that will be discontinued.

In the pop-up window, you must now set when the invoice line is Valid to, e.g. 31.12.2025.

Remember to click ‘Apply’ to save the setting.

You now have two invoice lines: one that applies until 31.12.2025, and one that takes effect on 01.01.2026.

Remember to save the campaign at the bottom of the page.

Once you are past the start date when the new invoice line takes effect, we recommend that you tidy up and delete the old invoice line that is no longer relevant.

Change the campaign price via automation

Creating automations for price changes is advantageous if you have many campaigns where the price changes by a specific percentage for all, and you are okay with letting the system calculate the price for you.

Open the account menu in the top right corner > Select Automations > Click “+New automation

Under Campaign, select ‘Change price on invoice lines on campaign

Name the automation, e.g. Price increase 2026

Under Execute in the future, keep the setting ‘execute only manually

Under The following conditions, you can, by clicking ‘+Add condition’, choose “If the campaign is active”. If you want to change the price for specific campaigns, you can also add the condition ‘If the campaign is one of’; you then have the option to tick which specific campaigns the price change should be applied to.

Under Change the price in percentage, you can enter the percentage by which you want the campaigns to change. (Note: you should not type %, as it is part of the setting).

Note: At the bottom of the page, under Rounding of new calculated price, you have the option to choose whether you want the price to be rounded or not, since a percentage change can result in an uneven amount

Finally, you can choose to set the date for the change under The price must apply from; you can either choose today’s date or a future date, e.g. 01.01.2026.

Remember to finish by clicking ‘Execute now’ or ‘Save’. You must click ‘Execute now’ to carry out the price increase. If you have set the price increase to take effect later, you can still choose ‘Execute now’, as the change will only take effect on the selected date. If you click ‘Save’, nothing happens, except that the automation will appear in your list of automations, but no action has been taken.

Change price on subscriptions with a special price

If you have subscriptions with special prices, where the price is entered in a custom invoice-line field on a subscription, instead of updating the price on each individual subscription you can create an automation that changes all subscriptions with special prices at once. However, be aware that the price is changed by the same percentage for everyone, and you must be okay with the system calculating the price for you.

Open the account menu in the top right corner > Select Automations > Click “+New automation

Under Subscription, select ‘Change price on invoice lines on subscription’

Name the automation, e.g. Price increase 2026 - special price

Under Execute in the future, keep the setting ‘execute only manually

Under The following conditions, ‘if the subscription is active’ is set by default. By clicking ‘+Add condition’ you can choose “If subscription is on one of the campaigns” if you want to change the special price on specific campaigns.

Under Invoice line field, select the field that contains the custom price.

Under Change the price by percentage, you can enter the percentage by which you want the campaigns to change. (Note: you should not type %, as it is part of the setting).

Note: At the bottom of the page, under Rounding of newly calculated price, you have the option to choose whether you want the price to be rounded or not, since a percentage change can result in an uneven amount.

Finally, you can choose to set the date for the change under The price should apply from; you can either choose today’s date or a future date, e.g.

Under a given subscription with a special price, the sale price will now look like this:
