teras integrates with Zapier via our webhooks. This means Iteras can send information about events in real time to Zapier as they happen. For example, information can be sent when a new subscriber is created, or when a subscriber’s data is deleted or updated. This can also include when a subscription is created, updated, renewed, or stopped.
Zapier integrates with over 2,000 apps, and through these integrations and Zapier’s internal logic, workflows can be automated. In other words, by sending information from Iteras to Zapier, you can then pass that information on to many other apps and trigger actions based on it.
Setting up Zapier integration
The Zapier integration is set up in Iteras, go to account menu in the top right corner > click on Integrations > click on Webhook. Start by selecting “New Webhook”
Log in to Zapier (or create an account if you don’t already have one – you’ll need a Premium account) and click “Make a Zap” in the top of the left-hand menu.
Under App Event, search for “Webhooks” and select “Webhooks by Zapier.”
Under Trigger Event, choose “Catch Hook.” This means Zapier will listen for any data sent from Iteras. Click “Continue.”
You’ll now arrive at the “Set up trigger” step. Here, Zapier provides a Custom Webhook URL, which is where Iteras will send webhook events. Copy this URL and paste it into Iteras under “Receiver URL”, then save.
Back in Zapier, accept the default settings under Set up Trigger.
Zapier will now prompt you to test the trigger. To do this, go back to Iteras and create a test subscriber or test subscription, depending on what kind of event you chose to send in the webhook. Then return to Zapier and click “Test trigger.” You should see the message “We found a request,” along with the data you entered in Iteras.
If something was set up incorrectly and you need to test again, you can replay the webhook event from Iteras, and in Zapier click “Load more” to fetch the new data.
Your integration with Iteras is now active, and you can proceed to the next step in Zapier, where you define what actions should take place when information is received from Iteras.
