Distribution via Dimaps (used by i.a dailies)

Updated over a week ago

For the distribution of daily newspapers and similar publications, the distribution software Dimaps is used. Dimaps operates on Bladkompagniet’s address database of delivery addresses, which is updated daily in Iteras.

There isn’t always a perfect match between the addresses in Iteras—which may be validated against the DAWA address database or entered manually—and those used by Bladkompagniet. Therefore, Iteras performs a matching process between the two databases. Addresses that do not match can be extracted into a list, allowing you to manually enter the address as required by Bladkompagniet in order to achieve a match.

If a match is not established for an address known to Dimaps, the distribution will be carried out via regular mail (typically at a higher cost).

Address exports from Iteras to distribution systems occur at a speed of approximately 60.000 addresses per minute.

Dimaps setup is handled by an Iteras consultant.
